Note: It can be used in Afterbirth daily runs with no repercussions. One can run other mods side-by-side with Missing HUD 2 with no issues. This translates to Missing HUD 2 remaining 100 accurate even after picking up items like Experimental Treatment and Libra. If you are crashing or seeing weird stat values that are clearly incorrect, you most likely are not running the latest version of the game andor Missing HUD 2. Pirated copies of the game are not officially supported by Missing HUD 2. ![]() All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. I only managed to keep my progress by disabling the cloud both on Steam and in the.ini files so I can isolate my local saves and rely on them, and the import button only works for rb data. And yes, Ive tried all the suggested solutions I could get my hands on. Im honestly considering getting a refund for ab since I cant use it unless I start everything over, which is out of the question. Im really tired of messing with my files just so I can use something I paid money for. Unless the devs add some import afterbirth button, Ill get my money back. The import option that there is a button for in game imports Rebirth data, not Afterbirth (no idea why, it just does). Ignore that one. The auto-import feature runs on 1st launch when you have no Afterbirth save data and imports Afterbirth data. ![]() The Binding Of Issac Afterbirth Mac OS XNavigate to whichever of the following matches your OS: Windows Vista78: Inside your user folder, usually C:Users My DocumentsMy Games Windows XP: Inside your user folder, usually C:Documents and Settings My DocumentsMy Games Mac OS X: LibraryApplication Support Linux:.localshare In these you should see 3 binding of isaac folders - one for rebirth, one for afterbirth, and one for afterbirth What you need to do to start with is open up the options.ini file in the afterbirth (not ) one and check the steamcloud setting, dont change it but note if its 0 or 1 then close it again. Next open up the options.ini file in the afterbirth folder - change the steamcloud setting in this to match the one in the normal afterbirth folder if it doesnt match. If you changed it, open the game and hopefully the import will pick up the saves this time as itll actually be looking in the same place afterbirth is using now. If you didnt change it and both are now set to steamcloud1 then the cloud is probably getting in the way, there are workarounds for this but basically you need to delete the existing incorrect afterbirth save files and also prevent the cloud from replacing them on launch so that the game will actually run the import feature. If both are set to steamcloud0 and it hasnt imported you can just delete the afterbirth ones and itll reimport on next launch. Failing those youll need to verify that your afterbirth save files are actually in the correct place to be imported and that theres no also no existing afterbirth data preventing importing in the folders the game is looking into (determined by the steamcloud options.ini settings), but it shouldnt come to that - if it does and the files are there though chances are its just the cloud getting in the way. PS: To clarify the save files just in case: theyre all named persistentsavedata, the ones starting with numbers (dates, actually - yyyymmdd) are backups only, the ones without these numbers are the files the game actually reads - the rest is mostly self-explanatory (game versions are split by folders only in the 1st set of filepaths, and split by filename prefixes in the 2nd set - abafterbirth, abpafterbirth). Unfortunately, all my steamcloud values are 0 and no matter how many times I erase everything abp (including the contents of the afterbirth folder minus the options.ini), nothing seems to work. I always end up with empty saves in ab but my ab saves still work, thank goodness. All in all, as much as I love this game, I really dont want to waste more hours trying to make a mere dlc work.
